arena football game

We'll be going to watch the Tennessee Valley Vipers play arena football this Saturday, June 24th. We're leaving at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $10 at the door and bring some $ for food and drinks. See you there!

big tree hiking trip

Don't forget about our "Big Tree" hiking trip this Saturday, June 3rd. It's a long hike (approx. 10 miles round trip), so bring lots of water, bug spray, and a sack lunch or big snack. We'll leave the church at 8:30 a.m., so be on time and ready to go. Bring some $ for a meal on the way back. It's going to be a great trip to see the oldest and biggest tree in Alabama. Kevin and the rest of the guys from the Crosspoint band will perform for us during our regular Sunday night Impact Service on May 21st. Be sure to bring friends to this exciting opportunity to worship and rock out while doing it! Looking forward to it! See you there!

School's Out Swim Party

Hey,
To celebrate school getting out, we will swim and grill out at the Anderson's house on May 27th. We'll start around 5:00pm and end whenever the water is all out of the pool. Just kidding! Bring $3 for food, your swimsuit, a towel, and your best cannonball!

CAVING!!!!

We are going caving this Saturday, May 13th in Scottsboro and will leave the church at 8:30. If you're interested in going but you haven't told me yet, shoot me an email at kenny@crosspt.cc. I need to get you the list of stuff to bring and a release form to be signed.

summer camp

Summer camp has been scheduled for July 28-31 in Panama City Beach, Florida. The cost is $135 for a fun-filled weekend of worship, learning the Bible, and FUN! If you're going, we need a $50 deposit by May 28th. See you at CSI on Sunday nights!

Hey folks,
We'll be leaving at 9 a.m. this Saturday for a fun-filled day at the Nashville Opry Mills. There's lots to do there. Bring some cash for food and shopping, if you choose. See you there!

Opportunities for service

There are a couple of opportunities for service coming up. Tuesday night, April 4th, we'll be going to the nursing home to minister to the elderly. Be at church at 5:45 if you want to help.

Also, as a church, we will be giving out stamps at the post office downtown on April 17th. The night before, April 16th, we will cancel the CSI service for the night and help to cut the stamps out and place them on the cards that will be handed out. Try to come to one of these events, or come to both. It's a great opportunity to be a servant to others.

Remember, if you want to see Jesus, be Jesus.

Keep your ears open and look in the worship guide for info about summer camp! Info on it will be coming soon. Start saving money as we pray about where we should go.

spring break

It's great to be out on Spring Break! Tonight (Monday) we are going bowling. We'll meet at the church at 7 pm and go eat at Zaxby's. Then we'll head to the bowling alley and bowl from 8:30 til around 10 pm. We can rent shoes for $1 and bowl each game for $1.50. It's bargain night and we're going to take advantage of it!
